In Florida you can see and ride hot air balloons in different colors, forms, and themes. When the air inside the balloon in heated with the flame, it becomes lighter than the cooler air on the outside and this causes the balloon to float upwards.

Now, if you were wondering where you can find these balloons, here we will tell you about the
events in the sunshine state where you can enjoy this flying experience:
This balloon festival takes place for the first time from March 1-3, 2019 on land next to Homestead Miami Speedway. Tethered rides will be available and if you book in advance it's just $20 per person. All guests experiencing tethered balloon rides must first sign an insurance waiver. Pre-booked guests must check in by 7:30pm each evening.
The main hot air balloon glow will begin at 7pm each evening and last for around an hour. Likewise, you will be able to enjoy delicious food and other activities for the little ones. General Admission is $20 per car and VIP car passes are $40 (only available in advance).

If you live in the Orlando area, this is your chance to see hot air balloons in town. They will glow at dusk in Blue Jacket Park from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on November 14, 2019. This public event will count with a variety of food trucks, retail vendors and activities for the kids. Admission is FREE for the entire family! However, if you want to experience a balloon ride, you can purchase it online for $20 per person. No worries, it is tethered!

This amazing event on Florida’s east coast features beautiful morning balloon flights and amazing evening hot-air balloon glows. Tons of different types of balloons take flight around six in the morning just when the sun is going up; so if you want to see them, you must wake up early (the view is worth it, I am anxious to see it again).
But that is not all… you will also see the most incredible airshows during the day! Different airplanes will make acrobatics in the sky and nearly too close to the ground. Trust me, for these pilots, the sky is not the limit.
In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy helicopter & carnival rides, animal encounters and a petting zoo that will help support local rescue centers. There will be many activities for the entire family , whether they want to spend the entire day …or weekend!
Tickets will be available at the event gates and online for discounted prices. General admission starts at $15 but if you want to purchase the VIP Tent tickets for Saturday and Sunday, it would be $75 per day (includes covered seating at show center, event program, catered lunch served with draft beer, soft drinks/water, an opportunity to interact with airshow performers, and a reserved VIP parking pass).
The next New Smyrna Beach Balloon and Sky Fest will take place from November 8-10, 2019.
Now… if you love these festivals, you shouldn’t miss the Largest Hot Air Balloon Festival in the World at Albuquerque! Or if you want a more VIP experience, you can reserve a private basket for as many as 10 people. Check all the places to ride a hot air balloon in Florida, they are more than ten including Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, and Panama City.
