The unique vacation destination, part of the NBCUniversal Comcast family, announced this August 1st that will be building a new, fourth, theme park in Orlando opening in 2023. And guess who is super excited? ME! 😊
“Universal’s Epic Universe” will join the current three existing parks, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. Below are the details you need to know about this great news!

What will it feature?
The new complex will feature an entertainment center, hotels, shops and restaurants. And, epic as its name says, it will also count with vibrant lands and attractions that will venture guests beyond their wildest imagination and into popular beloved stories.

Location
Universal’s Epic Universe will be located a few miles from the existing resort around south of Sand Lake Road and east of Universal Boulevard.
Area Extension
It will be located within a larger 750-acre site that nearly doubles Universal’s total available acreage in Central Florida.

More than just a new theme park
· Mayor Demings highlighted that Universal’s investment will benefit the community and economies such as tourism and high-tech.
· Universal will hire 14,000 team members, including professional, technical, culinary and other specialized positions.
· And... of course, they will probably double its annual state and local taxes contribution when the new theme park opens. Currently, the numbers round around $302 million.
I just can't wait to know which lands and characters are going to be part of this new adventure (I hope Nintendo is one of them!!!).
Stay tuned for upcoming news about Universal’s Epic Universe!
