Michael leaves misfortune in Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia

It is sad but true that hurricane Michael passed devastating a few states on the East coast of the U.S. Na sexta-feira, 12 de outubro, houve pelo menos 11 mortes, from which four were in Florida, one in North Carolina, and another in Georgia.
The Category 4 hurricane with winds of 155 mph, only 2 points away from being a category 5, arrived to land on Wednesday. The worst damage was found at Mexico Beach, close to where it made landfall. CNN reported that nearly 1.1 million people were out of power in six states including Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and Virginia.

According to NASA, "Michael is forecast to intensify as it becomes a post-tropical low over the Atlantic late tonight or early Friday, Oct. 12.”
TIP: Residents of Bay County are warned to stay away from the area, danger due to storm debris has not been cleaned yet. According to Governor Rick Scott, first responders are still working hard on recovering the affected areas. He also specified on his Twitter account not to return to Bay County until local authorities indicate is safe.
