This winter season Disney Springs will get a little warmer with the paella, the sangria, and the tapas by Chef José Andrés. Jaleo will bring to Florida the traditional Spanish cuisine, flavors, and spirit. Imagine the delicious jamón serrano being cut to perfection and the fresh manchego cheese accompanied with a glass of vine… I am already dreaming about it!

The largest José Andrés’ restaurant will be located on the west side of Disney Springs, near House of Blues and Splitsville Luxury Lanes. The venue looks amazing! It is a two-story building with 22,000 square foot that accommodates 450 - 550 guests.
Jaleo´s design was inspired in an artichoke (Yes, the vegetable native to José Andrés’ homeland). The building features large windows with lake views while on the inside “petals” open up forming pergolas and a remarkable central courtyard that visually connects both floors. The first floor counts with a foosball lounge, a Terraza, and two other areas called Madrid and Pamplona. The second floor also has different areas named after renowned places in Spain.
Orlando will be the fifth Jaleo location in the United States, preceding the original at Washington D.C. and the subsequent venues at Bethesda, Crystal City, and Las Vegas.
And Jaleo is not all! José Andrés’ ThinkFoodGroup will also be opening one of the first-ever brick-and-mortar location of Pepe by José Andrés, which will feature an extensive menu of hot and cold Spanish-style sandwiches including bocatas and bikinis. Pepe will be located right next to Jaleo.
JALEO (ha-lay-oh): Spanish for revelry, party, and cheering.
