Universal’s Islands of Adventure has been named the number one theme park in the world for the fourth consecutive year by TripAdvisor!

1) The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: We all know ‘the boy who lived’ and having an entire section of the park dedicated to J.K. Rowling’s saga of course makes Islands of Adventure the best park in the world. Besides, ‘Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey’ is so far the most incredible and real attraction I have experienced in my entire life, you actually are inside Hogwarts! TIP: Get ready for 2019 Harry Potter fans because a new attraction is coming to Hogsmeade.

2) The perfect mix of technology and adrenaline is another reason why Islands of Adventure has been on the top of the list. Universal is always innovating with state of the art technology in its attractions and shows. My favorites: The Incredible Hulk Coaster (if we talk about adrenaline) and The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle (if we talk about shows), which is a new captivating projection mapping experience that makes you celebrate your Hogwarts houses and feel the magic at the end of your day.

3) Food is the last reason why we think Islands of Adventure is the number one theme park. It not only offers the experience of dining with your favorite Marvel Super Heroes but also offers a mix of delicious Mediterranean, Asian, and American fare at Mythos. My recommendations: the Cranberry Blue Cheese Crusted Pork or the Pad Thai. Oh! And I almost forget about the dessert… Honk Honkers, at Seuss Landing, has the best customized cotton candy in the world with different topping and flavors!
