Hotels with Christmas Decorations that you can't miss in Florida


Hotels are intended to have you stay with them… but during the Holidays you can just tour them to see all the beautiful decorations they set up. Here is a list of hotels with Christmas decorations for this season in Florida.


· Gaylord Palms in Orlando immerse everyone in a seasonal tale with its indoor winter wonderland kept at a chilly 9 degrees, they call it ICE! You will be able to see colorful, life-sized ice sculptures and five two-story ice slides. Yes, snow Tubing is possible in Central Florida! And if you like Gingerbread… you will be able to try some of your artistic skills in the Gingerbread Decorating Corner. Tickets for ICE! start at $28.99/adult and $14.99/child. Don’t forget to bring your coats!

· Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa exceeds all types of Christmas decorations with the delicious real life-sized gingerbread house, which also contains The Bake Shop. There, you can find gingerbread ornaments, cookies, and gingerbread house kits. And if that wasn’t’ enough, you can take a beautiful seasonal pics in front of the enormous 40-foot tall Christmas tree located in the lobby.

· Disney’s Beach Club Resort features the Holiday Carousel – a life-size, edible spinning carousel that has become a holiday tradition and this year is themed with Lilo and Stitch.


· Disney’s Contemporary Resort has the beautiful Cinderella Castle with oversized

gingerbread cookies depicting Cinderella and Prince Charming. The castle is recreated with the style of the legendary artist, Mary Blair, on a backdrop inspired by “it’s a small world.” This 18-foot tall display is crafted from thousands of gingerbread blocks, rolled fondant, and a mouth-watering amount of modeling chocolate!

· Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort prepares a sophisticated event called Holiday Harbor Nights with live music and a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. You will be able to spend an evening sipping select wines and trying unlimited gourmet food samples from the hotel's restaurants at the Harbor Piazza. Prices for the event goes from $55 for regular tickets to $90 for VIP experience [tax and ticketing fees not included]. If you cannot make it for the event, you can just visit the hotel any other day during the Holiday season and enjoy the glow of twinkling lights, the aroma of Italian cuisine, and the sound of opera in the air.

· Boca Raton Resort & Club decorates its front courtyard with a beautiful Christmas tree and Menorah. On November 23rd, after the Christmas tree lighting, the beloved Character parade will fill the hotel with vibrant colors and merriment. If you are close by, make sure to pass by on a not so warm afternoon in South Florida to feel the Christmas season.

· The Breakers in Palm Beach takes on another level of beauty and luxury for this time of the year. Strung with over 170,000 twinkling lights, discover the resort grounds with spectacular decorations like larger-than-life trees, trimmed from top to bottom. Also, if you have kids, take them to festive activities like gingerbread cooking decorating, holiday karaoke and a visit with Santa.
