The Holidays are my favorite time of the year, not only because of all the festivities we have around but also because is that time to share with friends and family. That’s why this time I am going to share a few things you can plan to do this holiday Christmas season in Florida.
Everyone knows that Disney, Universal and SeaWorld celebrate big the Christmas season. By the beginning of November, all theme parks start to transform for the Holidays with decorations and special shows. This are the specialties each park prepares for guests during the season.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party runs until December 21 at Walt Disney World Resort. Here you will be able to experience the Disney magic at its finest: Cinderella Castle shimmers, joyful music fills the air, Disney Characters don their most festive attire, attractions take on a holiday theme, and for those food lovers, delicious yuletide sweets and seasonal beverages are available all throughout the park. This event is available on select nights starting at $105.00 per event ticket.
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays has its multicultural celebrations, food, music and traditions until December 30. Then, it´s all about the New Year's event!
Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort goes until January 6 in both, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. With the regular park tickets you will be able to experience Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter as Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are transformed with wondrous spirit. Special holiday treats and drinks (I am dreaming about the hot Butterbeer) will be available, meanwhile you can see The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle projection mapping show or listen to Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees with special songs for the occasion. Of course, you will also be able to enjoy the beautiful Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Studios and watch the live retelling of Dr. Seuss’s classic holiday tale starring The Grinch in the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular.
SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration takes place daily until December 31. Guest will be able to meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and friends, enjoy shows like Elmo's Christmas Wish, O Wondrous Night, Winter Wonderland on Ice and much more holiday traditions while making spirits bright.
